"Survivors"

This is a game I developed in Ringling College of Art and Design during the Junior Fall 2022 semester in Game Art major. Based on the concept art I made, I created my 3D assets in Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Substance Designer, and programmed mechanism in Unreal Engine 4 Blueprint.

The game tells a story about a young archaeologist discovering secrets while trying to find the Chinese mythical ethereal utopia in a famous fable "Peach Blossom Springs".

The story is created with my answer to why a village inside a peach blossom forest can never be found in centuries. With certain fantasy elements, the players will get to know the fact about people's suffering in the chaotic world outside. In the end, you will decide between two options: a) with your pride in advanced modern technology, you announced the existence of this village and make their life more convenient, while gaining fame at the risk of bringing potential chaos and conflict from outside; b) with the bloody truth of how people sacrifice their lives to keep this village untouched by outside chaos, you leave like your pioneers, and never speak about it.
